I think of myself as serious, but good humored; compassionate, but occasionally unyielding; sincere, but hard to pin down. I can be very intense about the people, projects, and ideas I care about. I take my commitments seriously and I am intrigued by the wonder of the world around me. My interests are varied and are not easily categorized. I am amused by contradictions in myself and appreciate contradictions in others. I love my friends, especially when they challenge me to do things I wouldn't do on my own.
I love life and I appreciate people who want to experience it to the full. Despite my intensity, I think I have a good sense of humor and like to be with people who can have a serious conversation about politics in one moment and who can be joking about nothing the next.
In terms of whom I'd like to meet: Anyone who is fun, spontaneous, reliable, caring and intellectually curious. For dating, I'd include all of the above and add that it is important that anyone whom I date take good care of themselves, be fit, and, attractive as well. I am drawn to guys who are strong and romantic; who aren't afraid to be sincere and generous with heart.
