My closest friends would describe me as a funny, outgoing adventurous "city girl". They might even follow that up by stating I'm the worst so-called farmers daughter ever. It's probably true, although I do own a pair of Ariats, own a 20 gauge (birthday present circa 2010) and have been known to rock the jean on at work on Mondays, where I am lucky enough to be a pediatric therapist while working at a barn with some awesome people, helping to improve the lives of kids and adults using the movement of a horse. Intrigued yet?
I took surfing 101 in college, have bungy jumped over a pond in Australia, skydived at sunset and impromptly climbed half dome at 4 in the morning with a pair of sneakers I bought at a yard sale for 1 dollar with a sleeping bag (yes I illegally slept on the top) before watching the sunrise. I have broken 8 bones doing water and snow sports, which have led to an impressive collection of crutches, casts, slings and boots.
My family, my parents' dogs and amazing friends make me smile. I'm very outgoing and personable but it takes time and trust to get to know me beyond the surface.
I love to travel and have lived in 8 different cities (abroad and in the US). While I love my family, I am fiercely independent and enjoy meeting new people that share my sense of adventure.
I'm looking for that partner in crime who wants to find someone to enjoy new and old adventures. Someone to have fun with. If it leads to something down the road--great, but I believe all good things happen at a natural pace so if you're looking to get serious and settle down quickly then maybe we aren't the best match and that's ok.
It should also be noted that I am obsessed with the SF Giants and my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.
Cheers for now....
