Hi! I've lived in SF for about 5 years after jumping all over the west coast with work. I recently returned from a three month "sabbatical" from work where I got to travel to Hawaii, Brazil, Argentina, Morocco, England, and Iceland, so I feel rejuvinated and relaxed. I love traveling, like everbody else on Match seems to. It was sort of an eccentric itinerary, but I don't get to travel abroad everyday, and I've wanted to check out these places.
I know what I like in somebody, but I don't...something's just gotta click. As long as someone shares a passion for keeping life exciting, the outdoors, and future goals (and physical attraction), the grounds for an exciting relationship are there....even if its just for friends :).
Keeping life exciting and non-routine drives me, so someone who is complex and deep...intellectual but sassy...would be the best match. I like to think that I lead a fairly balanced life. Work is important to me, however I'm more of the mindset that I work to live, and not live to work. In other words, if I won the lottery today, I'd quit work and travel until I grew old...and be a ski bum in the winter!
Some of the things I like: big trees, campfires when its really cold out and everybody cuddles closer and closer to the fire until you are either too hot or too cold, thunderstorms (one of the reasons I miss the midwest), beaches (one of the reasons I don't miss the midwest), dimples when someone smiles, powder days on the slopes, having friends over for dinner and lots of wine, Saturday mornings in bed when I actually can wake up to the sun, the smell of coffee and drinking coffee.
I would describe myself as intelligent, kind of a smart ass, down-to-earth, passionate about what I like, a huge procrastinator, and a bit of a class clown that has grown up. I hate spiders......alot. More than most people. If we end up together...you will be the one that has to kill the spider in the house, not me! I am cool with snakes and all other bugs....just not spiders. I'm sure I am missing a lot, but I always feel weird when writing these things, and cannot wait to be done writing in this box!
