Here's to one more try :) I find the online dating "scene" a bit odd, but who am I to question what seems to work for so many!
I feel like at this point in life, I might as well put out there exactly what I'm looking for and paint an accurate picture of who I am and what I'm about. I am a single mother to an amazing 15 yr old young man! He teaches me so much about life and love daily. He has an amazing father, so I'm not looking for a father for him, but do need to meet someone that would welcome him into his heart along with me, as we are a package deal.
I'm not here to meet someone for a "hook up" "hang out" type relationship. I am also not looking for a "partying" partner. I want to get married and have another child...but if being a mom to the wonderful son I already have, and being a stepmom to my future partner's children are all that's in HIS plan for me, I'm at peace with that too.
Life is short and precious so I make sure to enjoy the simple things in life from reading a good book, taking a nice leisurely bike ride and taking in a Giant's or Niners game. I do love sports and enjoy being active myself !
I have chosen a profession that allows me the flexibility to be very active and involved in my son's life and his activities...but it sure would be nice to share this life with a partner. I don't believe we are meant to "do life" alone. I believe in traditional gender roles and would like to fall in love with a man that also values my role as a woman, mother, caretaker and homemaker.
