I'm a low-key native Californian who loves calling Denver home. Like everyone in Denver I like to bike around town, hike, camp, ski and snowshoe, but am not extreme about any of them. Just being outside, in the moutains or by a lake or the ocean, is my idea of a good day. I love the year-round Denver sun :)
I like to travel and explore new places, whether abroad or just to new neighborhoods! I was on an Eastern European kick for a little while, but have mostly travelled in the US the last few years. I'm not a big party or club girl, and prefer a beer at happy hour, dinner with friends, or a chill night in.
Some random facts about me: I worked as a construction supervisor for Habitat for Humanity for over 5 years; I was in marching band all through high school and college, and went to every home football game; I'm terrified of spiders when they're in the house; Some holidays like New Years annoy me, but the kid in me still loves Christmas; I lived in Portland for a little while but I'm not a hipster, not even a little bit; I love old movies, classic rock, bluegrass, and old jazzy stuff; I miss the ocean; Bad grammar is a turn off.
I'm looking for someone who likes to try new things, who likes to laugh and be silly, who looks for the good things wherever they are in life or the world, who is driven to achieve their goals whatever they might be, and who doesn't take themselves too seriously.
