I've lived in Madison for a year, and in spite of that, I really haven't been able to start any new relationships or network a group of friends, as all my existing friends live in other parts of the country. Perhaps it's the neighborhood I live in, or maybe it's just me getting a little older and more settled in life. However, what has really been missing is a lady that I can actually share my life with. So here I am.
First off, I'm native to south central WI, lived here for most my life (spent my collage years in Oshkosh). I'm currently balancing a retail job and school for art and animation (I'm a novice 3D animator). I have a Bachelors degree in Philosophy, and while I won't say it was a waste of time and money, it certainly didn't help me advance into any careers.
Some other things that pique my interest: Football (Big Packer and Badger fan), video games, music (punk/metal/indie), Traveling (would love to do more international travel as there is too much of the world to be stuck at home all my life), and humor that isn't "sarcastic" (anyone with me on that?)
I'm stepping into this cautiously, looking for a women with some common ground that we share and would like to slowly grow a relationship. A woman who has either established herself, or has plans to pursue her life goals. As for personality and interests, you don't have to match up with me 100% or even 50%. I don't believe that trying to find my female counterpart is particularly healthy nor realistic. I just want to find a woman who is attractive, fun to be with, and has an established view of the world and her place in it. Even if that view doesn't match up 100% with mine.
