UI think most of my close friends and family would say that I'm very thoughtful, warm, and outgoing. One of the best compliments I have ever received is that I am genuine. I have also been told I am "sweet with an edge". I make friends very easily and love the whole process of it. Certainly interesting starting over but I couldn't be happier and more settled with my situation and a new start. I'm extremely active and enjoy running, playing tennis, squash, cycling, golf, seeing friends, checking out new restaurants, happy hours in the city. I did my first 1/2 marathon and sprint triathlon...mostly due to one friend I can't say no to...but glad to have done them and will be back at it this year.
Sometimes I wish I could sit still more but I do know how to relax too. Especially if that involves a beach or a pool and a good book or watching good (or bad) movies on a lazy afternoon. I prefer watching movies at home rather than at the theater but really enjoy an occasional Broadway show.
I love games in most forms and my competitive side definitely comes out a little bit (except you don't want me on your Quizzo or Pictionary team - really terrible). I really enjoy hiking but not camping. I have a great time being outside all day but want to be dry and warm at night (I'll take the campfire, smores and stars but then want to fall asleep inside!). I'm a fan of most types of music, probably with the exception of rap and hard rock. I love singing and I would be the one you look over at in the other car and see singing rather enthusiasticallly. I have a decent voice but am making up a lot of words as I go along! I really don't like being the center of attention but never shy away from a chance to grab the karaoke microphone. I don't think I'll ever really love cooking but I like entertaining and can pull together a nice dinner party. I would most like to be cooking with a glass of wine and a fun partner. Obviously it is terrific if you can cook!
The Philadelphia area has been my only home and I'm lucky to have so many good friends around from every step of my life. My family is extremely important to me and I'm fortunate that they are relatively closeby.
I love traveling and visiting new places and always need a next trip to look forward to. My travel wish list is extensive and includes just as many US destinations as those abroad. Dream trip might be an African safari. Traveling also very much makes me appreciate coming home too.
I'd like to find someone who is genuinely kind and good hearted, is driven but prioritizes me and family first, shares my interests and wants the same things out of life as I do; while having a really fun time along the way. Like everyone I think the chemistry is extremely important. I want to be as happy with my partner being out for the night or spending a lazy day hanging out reading the newspaper and playing scrabble or going out for a run or playing golf together. You also need to be a super snuggler! I see how my parents look at each other all these years later and that's ultimately the goal.
One last little thing- I hate the wink feature on this. Feel free to wink but it's not going to get you very far!
