Well, here goes nothing! What does the commercial say? "One in five relationships begin online?"
I have been told by many people I have a great laugh and that I laugh quite a bit. I do find joy and humor in many aspects of life. I'm open-minded and enjoy the simple things, like flying a kite (I guess that's the kid in me), which is why I enjoy spending 7 hours a day with third graders! I like hanging out at a coffee shop on a cold day. Of course, living in Colorado, getting out for a hike to enjoy the scenery and over 300 days of sunshine is a must. I like just about any type of movie and music. Sporting events are always fun. I have always been a Rockies fan since day one. I have a goal to visit all major league ballparks: four down, many, many more to go! Hockey and football are also on my list of sports I enjoy watching. I enjoy playing volleyball, and, I'm currently coaching a 4th grade basketball team. I have an adventurous side too. Recently, I discovered that traveling by one's self can bring it's own challenges, but is a rewarding experience. This past June I traveled to Margarita Island off the coast of Venezuela, and had the time of my life!
One of the most important qualities I am looking for in another person is the ability to communicate openly and honestly, which is necessary to build a successful relationship. I also feel both parties in a relationship should have a sense of self-confidence. In addition, a sense of humor goes a long way!
