I moved to San Francisco a little over a year ago and haven't really had the chance to fully take advantage of my new home state. Nevertheless, I've got a great home, work for a great company, and have had the chance to meet some really good friends here.
I'd like to think I'm pretty fun to be around, with a good sense of humor, adventure, and romance. While I'm happy to go out and have a good time, I love equally to just hang out with friends at one of our places. Bars and clubs personally aren't a big draw for the singles scene.
I love snowboarding, watching movies, reading, photography, high adventure sports, being out in nature, etc. Part of the reason I moved to SF from NYC was so I could actually do more of the latter, kind of like when I lived in Denver.
I'm also a really big traveler. My family never traveled while I was growing up, so I've been making up for lost time since college. And while I've been to several countries for both work and leisure, the world's a big place. One of the greatest aspects I could find in another person would be that same yen for experiencing the world.
I love to cook, but rarely have anyone to do it for. I think I'd actually like to start hosting some parties...sushi-making, wine tasting, regional cuisines. How does that sound? What am I looking for? In the short term, I'm content just to meet a few new souls and have a good time. But--no matter what--I'm looking for individuals with open minds. There's still plenty for me to see in CA, so proud residents shouldn't hesitate to write. A shared love of travel and the outdoors would be ideal, but I'm also up for the challenge! I can't really typify what I find attractive in others, or even what I really look for. I just know from my impression of people.
If anything I've written strikes your fancy or piques your interest, I'd love to hear from you!
