A little about me:
I am dependable, loyal, fun,compassionate,silly, moral, straightforward, outgoing and successful.I am a positive person, and cannot date a "debbie downer" or someone with a victim mentality. Fun and a lighter side of life should be an everyday commitment. I don't sweat the small stuff and the big stuff is everything to me. I've been told I have a good Aura ;-)
I am passionate about everything I love. I love my family and friends, and my true friends ARE my family. We're like a small gang :)
My neices and nephews are the joy of my life and it is so fun hanging out with them.
I'm all about being comfortable in my own skin, and doing the right thing to feel that way. I love music, history, religion, conspiracy theories, non-fiction and Game of Thrones
I'm a new cook - but an experienced eater... So I'm doing well at putting together meals that taste good. I moved to Manhattan recently, so I'm enjoying entertaining and getting out around the city. I am a family girl, and love time with family and friends. I guess you can say my personal lifestyle is somewhat traditional, in a good way. I also enjoy getting out, socializing, seeing and experiencing new things.
I do like a guys guy....someone who does "guy" things...You SHOULD like sports, beer, cars, beach, girls, and know how to fix stuff. I never understood why women get turned off by this (and other guy habits). This of course is in addition to being a gentleman, cordial, and respectful to me at all times. No exceptions. If it sounds like an contradiction, it's not - I believe there is a common ground out there. I'm looking for someone balanced - as I feel I am on most days. Having common interests is good, but not everything. To me having the common integrity and long term interests is more important. My motto for relationships (and most things really) is "go hard or go home". I'm a happy single woman, but at end of the day looking for someone who is game for being the couple all others are envious of ;-)
As I'm new and navigating match- here's a few things I feel I should clarify before contacting me:
Profiles 2 sentences long with no substance are not acceptable (I'm not into someone who's a serial dater, spammer, faker, player, serial killers, creeper, stalker)
I won't respond if your first and only communication is - "hey, you busy tonight, or lets get coffee" No need to explain this one
If every photo is of you at the gym, or shirtless- I can't do it. Also can't do the "model pics" Not manly to me at all
Cheesy lines like "I didn't know heaven sent angels to match.com" might be publicly scrutinized
Copy and paste correspondence will not be responded to, as well as correspondence that clearly shows you didn't read my profile.
Only those who are clueless to the above might find this offensive, all others are probably laughing at the NEED to post this and if we have anything in common, you find this respectable.
