People tell me that I am picky when it comes to guys. I tell them thank you. But if I am choosey, it implies that I am also out of the ordinary, so what makes me different?
1. I have been known to rap in front of my colleagues - including an entire athletics department;
2. I know and appreciate the difference between football and futbol (but can only play one of them with any degree of skill);
3. I still know the code for Nintendo’s Contra;
4. I can bake delicious cookies, read and follow IKEA instructions, wash my own car, and I almost never scratch on the 8-ball (ok, I actually haven’t played much since college but that was once true).
Seriously, all the basics about me can be found in my answers to the profile questions. Anything more would undoubtedly come off as cliche and would leave us with few topics of conversation for when we meet. Still, for just a little insight, here are a few key “S” words that apply to my life: Seattle, soccer, Stanford, Santorini, Santa Clara, snuggling, snickerdoodles and Sunday morning showers.
