I'm a Midwest girl at heart. I've been in Denver for a little over two years and I absolutely love it here. It's got just about everything you could ask for! I admit I haven't been to the mountains as much as I'd like, but I'm hoping to change that. I'm trying to improve my snowboarding skills; I haven't quite mastered the art of turning or getting off a chair lift. I have a lot of fun when I go, though! Maybe by next season I'll have an Epic Pass, we'll see. I'm also hoping to do a lot more camping and hiking when it starts to warm up again. I'm pretty laid back (but everyone says that, right?), into trying new and different things, and just looking to have some fun. I'm not a "girly-girl" - I like football and beer and can't walk in heels to save my life (although I'm working on that so stay tuned). I can also be really sarcastic. It's like a second language. I'm up for just about anything, whether it be going out downtown with friends or staying in with pizza and movies. I love going to concerts. I love music, but it's always so much better live and such a different experience. I'm also a fan of tattoos and have some myself. I think they're really interesting and can say a lot about a person and their story. I work at a small software company in the tech center as a Contract Administrator and Social Media Specialist. I've finally gotten into the marketing side of things and I'm loving it so far. It's been really interesting so far and I've been able to use more of my skill set which is always a plus. I studied Professional Writing in school and have been referred to as a "Grammar Nazi", so it's nice to be able to apply both my background and my passion in my work. Some things I can't live without. Kind of: 1. My dog. He's the best 2. Burt's Bees lip balm 3. Music 4. Sushi 5. MSU football. This season was pretty rough though I guess that's it for now. If you want to know more you'll just have to ask!
