I moved from New York to SF almost 2 years ago and am loving the West Coast lifestyle. I recently adopted a dog, Penny, and she's been keeping me pretty active! While I'm generally not very outdoorsy, having her has made me seek out local hiking spots and I'm starting to take more advantage of being in a city with so many beautiful things to see and do. I do enjoy being active and the occasional hike/camping trip is always fun, but I also have a lazy side. I love reading, watching TV, going to movies, eating/going out with friends, sitting on my couch doing nothing, cooking, and generally lying low. So it follows that I'm looking for someone who has both an active & lazy side (which I thought was everyone until I joined match).
Things I love: Games (cribbage, clue, catchphrase, and I'm especially digging beyond balderdash at the moment), NY Times crossword puzzles, ice cream, reading (into fantasy right now after a borderline unhealthy Harry Potter obsession), Crissy Field, Whales, Dogs, Peter Pan, East Coast Autumns, Super Nintendo (donkey kong muscle memory from childhood), conspiracy theories, hanging around big families (as mine is tiny).
I'm currently listening to a "Ain't Too Proud to Beg (the temptations)" Pandora station though my music taste varies. TV shows I've been hooked on recently are Homeland, Game of Thrones, and Mad Men. The last books I read were Lonesome Dove, A Song of Ice & Fire, the Farseer Trilogy. Next on my list are Shadowmarch & Ben Franklin's autobiography. The last movie I saw in theaters was The Intouchables and the last movie I rented was The Beginners - enjoyed both.
Things I do not love: Motorcycles, parades, spiders.
