I'm a fan of being outdoors. Enjoy walks, hikes, boating, watching sunrise/sunsets, enjoying the wildlife, walking on the beach, enjoying the wind, the stars, a glass of wine, etc...
Try to be a food chef on the side for all my friends, that they admire and enjoy. I try to focus on the "healthy cooking lifestyle" as well. Thus try to stay away from preservatives, canned, and fried foods best I can. Enjoy being outside and doing yard work, planting shrubs, building decks, working on piers, designing rental homes, and just enjoying God's true gift surroundings.
Indoors it's just relaxing while doing some yoga, working out in the fitness room, or listening to some soft music from all types like Jimmy Buffett, Temptations, James Taylor, or any Light Jazz, etc... Not big into all the reality shows, and really miss the old "clean" comedy shows from back in the days.
In the past, I did corporate business travel most of my life and have lived out of airports and hotels nonstop. Less travel now, and I realize and enjoy some of the simplest things in life it seems. I enjoy coming home to the lake and watching sunsets, and try to make it to the beach to check on things there once a month. There's nothing more relaxing than hearing the sounds of the waves coming in.
So what I am looking for? Well........ Someone that is just real grounded, easy going, and enjoys the simplest things in life as well. I’m not a “glim or glammer” style person. Since I have focused so much on my corporate business career and ambitions in the past, I admire someone that has done or is doing the same, has been goal oriented, career focused, and has a passion for what they do. I would like someone that could share their thoughts, always be honest, and have a base of what they believe in.
Honesty is the major key to what I want as well, and it is so rare to find someone that is so upfront to begin with in today's time. Please understand, that I am not looking for any partial relationships, one night stands, or casual meetings when the time is easily wanted. I want to be truthful and explain that I’m looking for something to grow into a long term, meaningful, and honest relationship with, and would want that person to also want to be and become my best friend in life.
Outside of career work, I would enjoy someone that could just put on their oldest clothes, pull up their hair, and enjoy going for walks, hikes, doing things outside, remodeling homes both exterior and interior, hosting social gatherings, helping with business events if needed, being in the kitchen and cooking with me for fun, walking the beach, enjoying a glass of wine, and the simplest things in life. Main thing is that they could honestly just be theirself .
