Like I called my profile, I basically describe myself as a good man. Intelligence attracts me and I place a high-value on it. I have a strong moral compass and am willing and ready to stand up for what I believe in - usually that means my faith, my country and my family, and generally the just and right thing. Quick-witted, I live a reflective life and tend to the traditional but relish enterprise and innovation; while not judgmental I am resolute, decisive. You'll find me very loyal, very passionate about life, a whole lot of fun and hard-working with a unique and an awesome sense of humor. I should tell you that I'm a romantic and a very affectionate person but not needy to the vice. I like the little details, walking hand in hand, a good hug, finding, or leaving that little note for your loved one just so they know they're written in your heart and that you carry them in your thoughts.
I'm very athletic and the gym is one of my most important hobbies; if I have the chance to go swimming in the ocean, that's where I'll be, and if not, a pool will do just fine. With that said, I am not a sports nut and never been. You'll never find me watching a game on television - ever - but every now and again I enjoy going to a live event, especially hockey. If I'm glued to the tv it's probably the Discovery channel, or NatGeo or some PBS documentary that I'm watching. If you can quote a line from a good movie, or from a classic book, you'll have me enthralled. Reading and writing are two of my most favorite hobbies: I dedicate a good deal of time to reading history, political philosophy, law, economics, theology, astronomy, and anything to do with technology - it's fascinating to learn who things work. I'm writing all of this in here so you might get a sense of what's important to me. Intelligence is sexy to me and I hope that my lady and I can learn together as we explore the world together.
I love to learn and every day is a new adventure. On a Friday night, there's no better way to wind down the work week than enjoying the company of friends, a nice dinner, and a little dancing; I love to dance - especially if it's salsa, merengue, vallenato or anything else really. I drink socially but drinking isn't a focus for me and neither is hanging out at bars. Spending time with family and friends, a great dinner, good wine, and just good conversation - about our day, about a good book, a new movie we saw together, even religion, politics and art - all the taboos right - is happiness for me. I tend to dream and plan but I always live life to the fullest. Of course, if I were with that special someone, cooking dinner together at home and just cuddling up on the coach all cozy to watch a movie would also be the perfect plan.
I have never been married, I have no kids. My family is a huge part of my life and they are something I wish I could share with my lady. It's important to me that my lady and my family truly could become friends and quite possibly more. I'm attentive to the kind of relationship my lady has with her own family as that is usually the best indicator of the kind of home we would build together. I love kids, I'm from a huge family and we are all very close. I definitely want to marry someday and God willing, have children whose faces remind me of the woman I love each time I look at them; I believe that all good things happen in providence's time and so when it happens, it happens and I it will be amazing. My faith is important to me and the spiritual side is something I would really like to share with my partner. I'm hoping to meet a woman who is loyal, faithful, as I will be for her; someone whose laughter I can ignite, whose laughter and the sound of whose voice tells me that I'm home.
