I'm a creative who writes almost everything except songs. Writing merely two songs does not count. I have a small collection of guitars. I tend to make people laugh. Yes, I've written a comedy or two, sometimes based on my life. Not looking for more material, but that's when it seems to happen.
I'm grounded, and subject to guilt. Thanks, mom! I believe in karma. Which means I behave myself and wish to do good personally and in the world. Yes, I cook fairly well, but I don't want to be the resident chef in a relationship. Can someone please cook on occasion? (Organically, if possible)
I'm easy going, yet passionate about the right things. I listen... I've been known as "helper guy," assisting with careers, businesses, family issues, etc. But I'm recovering, and trying to put that role behind me! Of course, I'll always help.
Note I'm not a player.. More like a homebody with options. I'm also friend material...
I have a talented 14 year old clarinet playing daughter who lives with her mother. I'm the bank :-) She has her own life w/school.The age of 14 for girls is tough...
I'll play almost any sport with a ball. Culturally, I like theater, museums, art galleries (helped put one together at Bergamot Station Arts Center), live music, etc.
What else can I say? I've got really good eye-hand coordination. And as a writer-musician, add good rhythm.
What am I looking for? Someone with a good sense of humor... bright, articulate, arty, optimistic, thoughtful, perceptive, and independent. Not much -- or at least well managed -- baggage. Comfortable with yourself, your life, your career, but perhaps looking for guy who will have your back and be a partner.
You're looking for a partner in every way. Relationships are important to you.. I like dinners out, short range travel, and arty stuff.
I played beach volleyball for years. So If I took my shirt off, you would be surprised that the bod you see is over 50 :-) I still have it, not that different below the neck than when I was 35 :)
Hopefully, you have a nurturing streak wider than dental floss. My daughter, Ms. Independent, doesn't need it. I do...
Is that too much to ask? Passion rules. Reason prevails.
Thanks for checking me out.
