Well like a lot of people this is my first experience with online dating...and finding a way to describe your personality in a few words is near impossible.
I'm originally from Maine and moved to DC two years ago for a job in a local ER as a nurse. My friends and family mean the world to me, so moving here was a big adjustment. My parents have been happily married for 35 years and have provided me with a perfect example of true love.
My friends would describe me as a compassionate, genuine, and loyal person. I like being the person a friend can turn to and confide in. They would joke around and say "im always smiling," and positive.... which is true, I like to think I see the best in any situation and I am definitely a glass half full kinda girl. Im outgoing, athletic, and competitive (in a good way) cheered competitively gradeschool-college. Although I am a girlie girl, I LOVE outdoors stuff and trying new things (being from Maine im used to spending lots of my time outside with sports and exploring). Huge fan of sports and going to DC sporting games and take advantage of going to as many Redskins, Capitals and Nationals games that I can.
I guess you could say I'm a hopeless romantic and optimistic that through this experience I will meet some genuine people. Its worked for a lot of my friends, so why not give it a try...
