This strawberry blonde prefers gentlemen, but not wimps. Romantic candelight dinners and cozy weekend getaways make me melt. Stealing away to meet for a quick cup of coffee is sweet and thoughtful. Tossing back a couple at a neighborhood bar is great fun. Sitting at home with my hands folded in my lap is definitely not my style, but sitting at home (once in a while) holding hands with you might be.
My "soul mate" is attractive, confident, takes care of himself, and can take care of me when I need it. He loves his family--even if they are a little crazy, like mine. Differences of opinion on social and political issues can make for stimulating debate, as long as opposing views are respected.
This is what I bring to the table: Passion. Laughter. A working brain and heart. Loyalty. A youthful spirit. Sensitivity.
What's not my cup of tea? Laziness. Arrogance. Cruelty. Unwillingness to take initiative and stand up to me. Spending entire weekends watching sports on TV. Communicating via text only. The "three day rule."
Update: I just got accepted at YSU for the Spring 2011 semester. Working full time and taking classes will take up a lot of my time, but if you capture my heart, I will make time for you.
A few years back my heart was shattered. Being alone is tough, but it caused me to be much truer to myself. I would definitely rather be alone than settle for games, B.S., and "Mr. Right Now". But...I still have to believe, and want to believe, that a wonderful man is out there who makes my heart jump. I made a fresh start in a new state and believe in new beginnings, second chances, and that my best days are still ahead of me. Living with an "I can't wait to see what happens next" attitude is exhilirating. My future is not yet written. Is there a chapter in it with you?
