As far as the online dating goes, when someone catches my eye, I'm interested in sending a few messages, followed by a phone conversation, and then meeting up soon after. I think of online dating as a new way to meet people, not a way to email back and forth for weeks at a time. I won't know if I'm interested until I have a face to face conversation with someone.
