Well for starters, my name is Melissa. I am a CPA and work in the finance department at an investment bank in the city. Having balance is very important to me, and one of the ways I achieve this balance is time spent with my (obviously adorable) dog Lily. Like most New Yorkers, a typical weekend for me involves trying restaurants and grabbing a few drinks with friends. Brunch is my absolute favorite meal of the day. I enjoy staying active and have recently gotten into running after completing the Tough Mudder this past fall. While I don't have much time for watching TV, I tend to have DVR catch-up marathons...preferably with a glass (or two) of wine in hand.
I really have no expectations of this online dating experience. We live in an amazing city, and I think it's fun to be able to use Match as a way to meet people that you would normally never run into through your social circles. What I am looking for in my match is someone who will ultimately be my best friend- that first person you think to call when anything of importance happens in your life. I believe that there must be that instant chemistry. I am attracted to a confident but not arrogant man that knows what he wants out of life (and possibly out of a relationship).
