First off, thank you for looking at my bio. I am an outgoing active male with a positive attitude who likes to have fun. I am confident, self-assured and a happy person. I am as comfortable in a suit and tie as I am shorts and a t-shirt. Although, I have been told I fill out a pair of jeans nicely.
I am originally from the Chicago area and return there fairly regularly for family parties, holidays etc. I am recently divorced and have two awesome kids that I have part-time. However, I have plenty of time for a significant other who also likes to have fun and is outgoing. I enjoy the simpler things in life like travelling off the beaten path to restaurants and pubs for dinner and drinks. Also cooking a meal and sharing a bottle of wine with someone special is great. I am not a great cook, but I can follow a recipe and chop an onion like Bobby Flay:). During football season, I am a regular at Notre Dame tailgates and in the summer enjoy a Cubs game at Wrigley. I am a homeowner in Granger and enjoy grilling on the deck, or sitting sampling wines or microbrews with neighbors and friends. I also am an avid golfer.
I like trying new things, I went sky-diving for the first time last year. A little scary, but the right woman could talk me into doing it again, interested?
I am not a marathon runner however I have discovered that regular exercise can do amazing things for the body and spirit. I am somewhere between "about average" and "athletic and toned". I am 5'11 and 180lbs.
I love the mountains, nature and hiking. Myfavorite places to vacation are Colorado and Montana. I can also "suffer" through sitting on the beach by the ocean.
I also am more spiritual than religious.
I am career oriented and financially responsible and am looking for a woman who is as well.
