I have been living in Houston for about 15 years but I am originally from a lovely village on the south coast of England. I lived and worked in London for a few years and am lucky enough to travel back there regularly for both business and pleasure which I thoroughly enjoy. I am definitely a "foodie" and enjoy eating out and cooking in at home! Yes, I do like to cook, especially for others. Some of my favorite times have been when friends come round for a dinner party for good food, nice wine and decent conversation.
I am very active and play tennis regularly and like to stay healthy and am in great shape. I also love to travel, snow/water ski, scuba dive. I am affectionate, thoughtful, generous, have a dry sense of humor, and I love to laugh until my sides hurt and would enjoy meeting someone with similar qualities.
I am looking for a partner who shares my interest in getting the most out of life but also is interested in giving something back as well. I would get along with someone who is easygoing and can be spontaneous at the drop of a hat! It would be a huge bonus if she is as happy and comfortable wearing old jeans, no make up, comfy flats and a base ball cap, as she is in a cocktail dress and Jimmy Choos!
Life is so short, and we often take too many things for granted and sometimes don't appreciate what may be around us. I do like being spontaneous and doing things on the spur of the moment when the mood is right - on the other hand, it is nice to cook in with someone special and have a nice quiet night in watching a movie together on the couch sharing a nice glass of wine. I feel it is time to wake up and smell the roses, and walk down the interesting path of life holding hands with someone that I can laugh with, travel with and share life experiences with.
