Have you even looked at your cell phone and wondered how it worked? Or how about why do the stars flicker? What’s so special about quantum mechanics that it’s the crux of nerd jokes? I did and became a science and technology geek. Professionally, I’m happily employed and self-sufficient in the space and aerospace industry. I enjoy solving mind-bending puzzles; thus, the technical challenges of my job are an excellent fit for me.
I enjoy travel, dining out, hiking, and camping with friends. In general, I am open to trying new things at least once. For example, I tried to get rid of my two left-feet with swing dance lessons… I was semi-successful. I am known to watch random stand-up comics on Netflicks. Dunkin’ Donuts coffee is crucial part of my start-up routine in the morning. The Big-Bang Theory is my one TV-show vice. I am originally from the Midwest and make it a point to contact my family at least once a week. I own four guitars and improv jazzy tunes to wind down after a long day. I am not pierced, try to eat healthy, but think Taco Bell is amazing.
When it comes to politics, it is good to have strong positions, but not be so dogmatic you can’t think outside the box and empathize with other world-views. Extremism is no good and, unfortunately, very prevalent in our world today.
My ideal date would be a woman who is balanced with her own personal goals, professional pursuits and relationships. A woman who is empowered, but wants her significant other to be a substantial part of her life.
