I have just experienced my first Fall in 20 years, I did not realize how much I missed Tennessee. I have come home again to Nashville to start a new chapter in my life and cannot wait for what is yet to come!
I am a very upbeat, positive individual who always has a smile on her face and enjoys life (yes, I am still a child at heart at times). Laughter is the best medicine and keeps you young! Beware, I like to flirt and keep you on your toes, lol.
I love to cook great home made meals (I am told I make a fantastic lasagne, minestrone soup from scratch and cheesecake) and then cuddle up to talk, watch a movie, read a book or play a game. Now, If I can just find someone special to enjoy the meals with me...maybe even help in the kitchen (more fun to cook together).
I love to bring history to life through travel. I cruised up the Rhine River from Basal, Switzerland to Amsterdam eating, shopping for Christmas presents and drinking Gluwein (mulled wine) at the Christmas Markets along the way. The Cathedrals were beautiful!
I would love to meet someone who wants to enjoy life and whose glass is half full rather than empty. Life is way too short to be miserable. I am looking for an honest man who would like to share his life with me. Yes, romance is great but there are so many more important traits that make a relationship successful: effective communication, compassion, passion, a playful personality, an ability to laugh with one another and at one's self, an ability to choose your battles, thinking before speaking so as not to say unintentionally hurtful things that cannot be taken back, a willingness to accept responsibility for actions or inactions, and most of all a desire to be in the relationship and put forth the effort it takes to make it a successful relationship. I am not looking for any one night stands but looking to meet people and see if they would fit in my life with my kids, take things slow and see what happens. I am not in any rush to get remarried but would like to do so eventually.
I value intelligence in a man, a man who is in touch with his feelings, knows what he wants in life and a relationship and most of all loves to laugh and have fun. Therefore, be prepared to share the real you with me. When two people share their true selves and are completely honest with one another, their relationship is strong (not to mention the sex ;) )
