I am new to the Laguna area and a single dad raising my 17-year-old boy who is such a good natured kid with a lot of talents. But I'm sure if you asked him, he'll lead you to believe that he's desperately trying to raise a good father! :-) In return, I told him I'm going to give bumper sticker that says "hire a teenager while they know it all!" :-) Bottom line, we love each other very much and I do love kids in general.
I'm educated, communicative, affectionate, loving and down to earth. I like simpler things in life. ADDED, I have been in a wheelchair since 1985 (about 27 years now) from a surfing accident while in Hawaii. Feel free to ask questions.
MOST IMPORTANT ... Unlike most, I defined myself or more by what I want and desire in my life now and moving forward in the last thing that hurt me. I'm quite resilient that way. Stated differently, I don't live my life looking in a rear-view mirror … Not only would that be a waste but I think people risk missing out on tectonic things that are standing in existing right before them. I really don't mind being vulnerable and availing myself in very enriching ways to someone I love.
I work full time, recently graduated from law school, raise my son pretty much on my own, I teach tennis and martial arts... and, all from a wheelchair ... Amazing huh? It sure has made for a colorful life indeed.
PEOPLE I PREFER ... are very open-minded and kindhearted if not generous in how they approach people. Open-heart and open minds are probably the most attractive thing to me. I suppose what I don't need someone who's attached to their "stuff" status or amenities.
ABOUT THE ONE I'M LOOKING FOR ... I would love to have a real LIFE partner! Someone who is prepared to get on with writing new chapters in a life together. To me, life truly needs to be a balance of where goals are valuable but the journey getting there is what truly makes life rich and colorful. I have a natural habit wanting to help people ... very rewarding but I need to be a bit more careful.
TRAITS I LOOK FOR ... nice smile, open-minded and kindhearted if not generous in how they approach people. Open-heart, open minds, a loving nature, patients and intelligence are probably the most attractive thing to me. To me, smart with humility in sexy!
FYI, TURN-OFF? We all like nice things, but please don't be someone who's attached to their "stuff" status or amenities because depth matters. Stated differently ... we are not our cars, bank accounts nor anything that someone can be gone tomorrow or today.
A SPECIAL NOTE ... certain women have great influence and they might never know it. I adore women who are not only generally kind and caring but I appreciate brains or intelligence while still being down to earth and with a sense of determination. More so, I watch closely how people treat each other including how they treat kids or strangers even in difficult settings. It really matters to me.
