Who am I? Well, lets see. I'm a successful, goal-oriented, and fun-loving type of girl looking for someone to get to know and see where things go. First and foremost I believe in building a great friendship, beginning with communication and trust. Once those are there, the foundation for a fantastic relationship have been set. :)
I'm the Director of the Medical Assisting Program with a local community college here in town. I've lived in Terre Haute my whole life, except for the year I lived in Lake Buena Vista, Florida and worked for Disney World. My favorite color is Pink. I LOVE football, and am a huge Green Bay Packer fan. I also greatly enjoy IU Basketball--HOO-HOO-SIERS! I got to go to my first game in February (we beat Nebraska!) and it was a blast!
Music and the arts are extremely important to me. I started singing at a very young age, and I try to stay active in our local Community Theater. (Bonus points for you if you can name a musical or two! :) ) I have three amazing dogs, Mickey, Minnie, and just recently Driver. Mickey and Minnie are both Chihuahua's, though I think Mickey is part beagle. Driver is a black lab.
I try my hardest to stay in shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I love a good glass of wine or discovering a new beer, with some interesting and intellectual conversation. I love to bake, and enjoy cooking very much. I love to travel. I'm always up for a spur of the moment, lets pack a small bag and jump in the car, trip. I own my home, and have since I was 23. My family means the world to me. I love spending time with my parents and their friends, which have become my "second family".
I wear pearls. I believe in having class and elegance, yet am able to let loose and have fun. I very much enjoy the outdoors. I've been volunteering with Special Olympics for the last few years, and it's one of my favorite weekends of the year. I am incredibly happy with who, what, and where I am in my life. Now I'd just like someone to enjoy it with.
Who are you? Well, you tell me. I hope you're someone who is looking for that person to share your life with, to one day have a family. Someone who challenges me mentally, who can playfully debate with me while truly wanting to know what I think. Someone who can show me new things, and who will let me show them things I enjoy. Who can joke around with me, and that we can make each other laugh. I am constantly smiling and happy--I'm a "glass half full" type of girl, and I do best with others who don't strive to bring everyone else around them down. I want to be with someone who is my best friend. Someone who is fun, caring, intelligent, well rounded, and kind. Someone who is okay with going out one night but staying in the next watching movies and being goofy, playing with the dogs, or watching a football game with me.
