A little about me: warm, open, animated, and funny only child (who's really good at sharing!), is sometimes impatient, but is always loyal, dependable, and up for experiencing the gems NYC has to offer!
I'm a native of Westchester County but have now called NYC home for the last 5 years. While I consider myself fairly independent, good friends and conversation are things I can't live without. I'm an avid cook and baker, diner outer, reader of fiction and poetry, and indulger in reality TV (I'm a Top Chef and Project Runway junkie!) I enjoy getting out of town on some weekends (there's nothing like breathing in some non-city air), and I'd love to learn how to play the guitar at some point in my life!
I come from a family of musicians and my background is in theatre and anthropology, but I've been working on the (creative) side of finance for the last 6 years. An artsy world it is not (I try to get my fill elsewhere), but I do appreciate the fast paced work environment of Wall Street! I'm also in the process of starting my own side business in the food industry.
On the weekend you can find me perusing old furniture at Housing Works, visiting friends on the UWS, heading to the greenmarket/Strand in Union Square, or getting dressed up for a night out!
some dislikes: sci-fi, doughnuts, arrogance, seafood (I know, I'm a disgrace to my Sicilian heritage!), and jam-packed bars (I really don't enjoy having to scream to be heard).
My ideal partner in crime is someone who is smart, confident, honest about who they are, thoughtful, open-minded, and who can make me laugh everyday! I hope you can banter a bit with me, don't groom yourself more than I do, are ready and willing to explain whatever sports game is on (I'm a self-proclaimed athletics dummy), and of course are kind to me and to others.
