I'm an aging punk rocker that's looking for someone who shares my interests. I'm typically nerdy: love monsters, horror films, rock n roll, sci fi, and the inspired recordings of Leonard Nimoy. I love movies and music, custom Chuck Taylors, fine dining and weekend trips away. I've got a decent job and love spending money on a delicious meal and some fine wine. Thoughts on trending topics: The Beach. I'm not a fan. The sun just burns me, don't really like the heat and the other people occupying said beach are not my kind of folk. I've found it quite easy to avoid the beach completely living in LA. Music. Don't want to write the Big List. If your musical awakening was informed by punk rock, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground, Stooges, garage, heavy metal, etc., then we probably got lots of bands in common. And, some little kernels to share too. The Car. I don't have one anymore. I ride a sweet Vespa every day. Gas, traffic, and parking are non issues. When it rains, I have a rain suit. When it breaks down, I have a backup scooter. That's right, I have two! Keeping two scooters registered and insured is still cheaper than owning a car. And, most importantly, riding my scooter makes me happy. Every day. Movies. I have a deep and abiding love for movies, or film, if you prefer. I feel they have been the single biggest contribution to my education in all things human. Two of my favorites are The Omega Man starring Charlston Heston and The Man Who Would Be King. Animals Love 'em. I've had a menagerie of pets over the years. All the classics plus some weird ones, like a raven. Most recently raised a squirrel who lost his mommy and daddy. His name is Spock and he's in the trees now. I'm an equal opportunity animal lover: neither cat person nor dog person. More like a jr. Doolittle.
