I like to live life to the fullest. I'm genuine, easy going, have a positive attitude and absolutely love to laugh. I'm looking for someone who can compliment those same attributes.
I've had my time in the social scene in the hopes of meeting someone and through time I've realized that I'm probably not going to meet that special someone at a bar, so that's why I'm on here. I'm interested in meeting someone that's honest, genuine, caring, enjoys life and is looking forward to something that could grow into a relationship.
I'm a firm believer that there needs to be HONESTY,TRUST and RESPECT for one another in a relationship to make it work and LAST. In some of my past serious relationships, my partner's honesty has been a problem. This quote definitely represents who I am, "Telling the truth to someone and making them cry, is better than lying to someone to make them smile." That's me: I would just rather someone be honest with me...even if it's brutal, than to lie to me and break the trust and respect that we have. With honesty, trust and respect as the foundation, comes good communication and compromise. You're not going to agree on everything, but communicating well and being able to compromise is something that has to be done to make a relationship last. I definitely want those same values in my partner. I will give it MY ALL in a serious relationship. I also think it's always nice to do small things to show your appreciation for one another when it comes to being in the monotonous, daily grind of life. Small gestures here and there or 'spicing things up' between each other really help affirm the affection and appreciation for one another so the relationship doesn't get boring. Like any woman, I like romance, so I definitely try to be creative to keep the chemistry and passion alive!
Family and good friends are also very important to me and I love to spend time with them. I think it's definitely important to maintain friendships while you're in a serious relationship. I love to spend time with my partner, but also think it's healthy to have some independent time with your friends. I'm not one to be controlling or pout because you want to spend time with the guys, etc. Sometimes being away from one another, makes you appreciate and excited to be with that person even more!
I'm easy-going, so I enjoy going out for a nice dinner, going to concerts & sports events, while feeling just as comfortable spending an evening at home, watching a movie and having a relaxing time. Grand or simple, I can do both. I love to travel...especially if it involves a beach! :)
