To best describe myself I think it is appropriate to list the virtues that I hold most dear. Honor, trustworthiness, integrity, faithfulness, honesty, fidelity, and loyalty. These are the ideals
that I try to practice everyday and that govern my interaction with others. Add to them the most important, the expression of Christ-like love for GOD and humanity. The woman of my dreams would believe and maintain that these values should exemplify and define the very best a man can and should be. Add to them a strong desire and drive for self-improvement, a sense of adventure and exploration, and of course, a good-natured sense of humor. An open willingness to experience new things, yet never compromise one's principles. A capacity to forgive and a willingness to compromise as it relates to life decision-making as I promise I will do the same for her. She should espouse all the virtues that I have mentioned above. Ultimately, our mutual life's pursuit would be described as follows: Two minds thinking as one, two hearts beating as one, two bodies sharing as one, two spirits reaching for and embracing one another. My perfect match will understand and believe that true love is the soul's recognition of its counterpoint in its soulmate. The embodiment of the marriage vows taken before God, patterned after the love of Christ for His Bride, The Church. A love that binds one man and one woman in spirit, mind, and body--in totality. A shared love that motivates each partner to strive for excellence yet understands and forgives our human imperfections, comforts each other in grief and sorrow, and that administers to each other in both sickness as well as good health. A shared love that keeps each partner anchored on solid ground, yet inspires each other to soar beyond
the most distant star constellation. A shared love that invigorates, refreshes, and renews each partner daily. A shared love that daily reminds each partner that despite the darkness of occasional adverse circumstances, there is the presence of bright sunlight just around the corner or just over the horizon. In other words, I want what GOD desires for all of humanity who seek a life partner, someone who they can connect with at all three levels--spiritually, mentally, and physically in a meaningful and truly fulfilling way. Someone to walk side-by-side with throughout life's unpredictable, yet exciting journey to that unknown destination. Could that woman be you?! Do you wish it to be?!
