I'm using this site as a tool to see what is out there. The bar dating scene isn't really something I have the patience for or the time, to be completely honest.
I've never been a "causal relationship" seeker. I've always been the type of person to be in a serious relationship. As a single woman I suppose I have found the discrepancies in what a man will say and what he actually means or does, rather taxing. I just want someone who is looking for a partner, much like myself. I'm searching for a best friend and possibly a person to settle down with. I realize that may and probably will not be what I initially gain from this site, but I am willing to test the waters.
I'm a relatively laid back person, I can go with the flow on a daily basis but major life events do tend to throw me. (i.e. a death in the family.) I have an amazingly large heart and I truly strive to see the redeeming qualities in another person. I would say that I'm sarcastic and rather sharp-witted. I love to travel, and allow myself to enjoy life... even if that means just sitting on the beach and allowing my mind to wander.
The traits I would want in a future partner are: intelligent, funny, sweet, family-oriented, driven, successful, mature, honest and ready to settle down.
