I grew up in Nebraska and moved to Los Angeles about 11 years ago for graduate school and to experience something quite a bit different than what I had experienced for the first 24 years of my life. I currently live in Hollywood but have lived all around L.A. I still love this town and all it has to offer, for better or worse.
I live my life the attitude that "life’s journey is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting 'Holy shit, what a ride!'." I work my tail off during the week and then love to mix it up on the weekends, along with some well-deserved relaxation.
Some of the things that I'm most proud of in my life are my incredible family and my friends. I take pride in being a person they know they can always count on and one who will always give it to them straight but offer them unconditional love and friendship. I also take great pride in my friendships with my "girl" friends. I do not take lightly the trust they put in me to always just be a friend and never cross that line. It's that trust that I've seen broken too often by others who have been in the same position as me.
