So, if I describe myself by 'learning style' (the teacher/learner in me), I am kinesthetic, visual and verbal. These translate into my everyday life/interactions as well (I like to touch. I like to look. I like to talk.). That being said, onto the adjectives describing me: Sweet and charming, cute, kind and open-minded, intelligent and educated, curious, adventurous, active and energetic (I LOVE yoga, running and dancing and recently did kayaking--which was so fun), silly and witty (I laugh a lot and can probably make you laugh too), whimsical, playful, romantic, focused, persistent, bold, honest, pragmatic, family-oriented and spiritual (think smart, girl-next-door type).
Books: I will read the back of a cereal box if there is nothing else. Some of my favorites (which it is hard to whittle down the list) East of Eden, The Corrections, The Poisonwood Bible, The Road, The Omnivore's Dilemma, most memoirs, stuff that challenges me intellectually/emotionally...the list could go on.
T.V.: Yes, I like t.v. (even though my parents tried their hardest to keep me away from it as a kid!). I will watch anything from PBS stuff (news and documentaries) to total nonsense. Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, New Girl will make me laugh out loud.
Music: Old staples I grew up with-- especially Bob Dylan. I am currently into the Black Keys, Avett Brothers, M Ward, Bright Eyes, Airborn Toxic Event, Vampire Weekend, but my iPod can run the gamut (90s alternative to classical---and popular stuff for running/dancing).
You: I'm looking to meet someone intelligent, curious, active, masculine (with a touch of sensitivity), chivalrous/gentlemanly and (somewhat) romantic and affectionate, funny/playful, honest with integrity, thoughtful and understanding/open-minded, spiritual and strong (convictions)---summary: character, focus and the levity of humor. I'm a sucker for a guy with a great smile and eyes who can be sweet, silly/playful-- (boyish charm with the convictions of a good man). Looking for a person, not perfection (and that 'spark').
