Hi! My name’s Brian. I work for The City of Los Angeles as a mechanic. I really love my job, and actually look forward to going to work! I think I have an excellent work ethic. I work pretty hard, and never seem to call in sick! It’s always good exercise for my brain to try and figure out the many problems which we see everyday at the job. However, in an attempt to not sound so one dimensional, I also love the artistic side of life. For many years, I’ve been practicing fire juggling, unicycling, and other circus skills. On Halloween night, I put on a torch juggling show for the neighborhood kids. I also enjoy building my own mechanical Halloween props, which I display on the front yard, as well. People seem to have a good time with it, as it has become a neighborhood tradition. I guess you could say that Halloween is my favorite time of the year!
I love vintage black and white monster films, as well as much of the fantastic hard rock from the 70's and 80's.
For fun and recreation, I like going to the local rock clubs to see the excellent tribute bands which are out there. Going to big concerts is always a good time, too. Bike rides all over the place are fun. Movies are also a good, easy time. Lately, I’ve been trying to keep up a jogging routine, which makes me feel pretty invigorated! I’m also interested in reading self improvement books, and autobiographies of people whom I admire. That’s more exercise for my brain! It seems to keep the gears inside my head rolling along smoothly (I hope!).
I love using words like, "please", and "thank you". And I think politeness is AWESOME!
Some of my favorite performers/ heros are: Keanu Reeves, Gene Simmons, Elvira, The Fonz, and Bela Lugosi.
My “philosophy” could be summed up by saying that life is supposed to be an “Excellent Adventure”, like in the movies. It’s supposed to be a fun ride, with a lot of cool experiences, and fulfilling accomplishments along the way.
I realize I’m kind of an unusual dude in this world. I'm sorry that I don't look or act like every other boring guy in the world....... But, maybe, there’s someone out there who gets a laugh from my antics, and thinks I'm "cool". We could see where it goes from there! Thanks for reading! And......"Be Excellent To Each Other!"
