Just moved to LA from Hawaii and this is my first attempt at online dating. I miss Hawaii, I love everything LA has to offer. There aren’t too many places where you can ski one day and ride a bike on the beach the next. I do miss the warmer water, especially when I went scuba diving in 53 degree water a few weeks ago. It definitely made me miss Hawaii’s 78 degree water that you can swim in year round sans wetsuit.
I am pretty easy going, work a lot, and am pursuing a Master’s degree while working a full-time job. I've travelled the world for work and have experience in international disaster response and planning. Focusing my grad program in that field. I've seen the poorest of the poor around the world and am amazed that they are often quite happy and content in their existence. It makes me appreciate how good we have it in our country. I have a soft spot for the vulnerable and am naturally protective. It would be awesome to find someone with a similar interest in making the world a better place. As you can read below, I love the outdoors and the ocean. I enjoy running and am currently training for a half marathon. I run along the beach between Playa Del Rey and Marina Del Rey or Manhattan Beach. I love how fit and beautiful the people here are as it inspires me not to be lazy. Intellectual, curious, and spontaneous, I'm always up for exploring new places and things. Love the sunset, especially with a good appetizer and a glass of wine or cocktail.
Looking for someone complementary. Someone who inspires me to be a better person and is inspired by me as well. My idea of the best relationship is where each individual loves the other more than themselves. Waking up before that person and fighting the urge to wake them up just to spend time with them. Someone with a big heart, intelligent, established in their own career and is also up for new things. Active people who are as happy going for a dirty hike in the mountains to a waterfall as they are spending all day in a shopping mall. Classy, sexy, not self-absorbed. Someone who likes to travel yet doesn't get bogged down planning a weekend or trip down to the minute.
I have a lot to offer, am always genuine, and outgoing. I can blend into any social setting or group of friends. If you are interested, don't hesitate to send me an e-mail.
