I'm giving this a shot because I figure why the hell not. I'm starting to realize that, despite fun, meeting girls in bars might not be the most productive way to go about meeting someone special. Not to say that there aren't attractive, fun, good-natured women out on the town on a Friday night, its just attempting to go introduce myself to a random girl I think is cute in a dark bar blaring some Flo Rida song never ends well. I figure I always enjoy meeting new people around the area so at the very least I expect to make a new friend or two outside my normal social circle. I grew up in PG County, MD, went to school in Boston, and have lived and worked in DC for the past few years since graduating. I recently moved out of a row house in Columbia Heights that I lived in with a few of my best friends and moved into a studio apt in Foggy Bottom. Although I had a blast living with friends the past few years, I am loving living alone and was definitely ready to get my own place when the time came (living a few blocks from my office doesnt suck either). I tend to spend most of my free time hanging out and going out with various friends around the area, some of whom I've known my whole life, others that I just met within the past couple years. I am very close with my family, they are the coolest people I know. Fun Facts: I think the funniest show on TV is MTV's The Challenge, and I'm not ashamed to say it. Trying to mingle at the cocktail hour of a prim and proper work party (think an environment where someone is playing a harp in the background) is my biggest fear in life. Actually second biggest fear to a tall glass of milk (I'm allergic to dairy). I would pay 1% of every paycheck to have the ability to dunk. My favorite Christmas movies are Just Friends and Die Hard. I pride myself on being able to get along with pretty much anybody (except King Joffrey) so if you are interested in getting to know me just holler.
