Hmm, let's see. I've always found it difficult to describe myself in a profile. First, a little bit of background. I was active duty army for a few years, finished my duty and decided to head back to school. By next semester (Fall 2013), I will be at Manoa to, hopefully, double major in education and fine arts. If not double major, I'll pursue a BFA then an MFA. I find sketching and wheel throwing extremely therapeutic. To be able to create a vase, bowl, cup, etc out of a ball of clay is extremely rewarding. Even though I haven't sketched in awhile, designing tattoos for friends is also A great passion of mine. A person who wants an original piece of art from you on their body, inspires me to be that much more creative in my work. I would like to say I'm a self-taught chef. Using basic ingredients to create a masterpiece (at least, i like to think so) inspires me to become better. The best meals come from experimentation, taste, and smell. Besides creating something from nothing, I do have an adventurous side. If the sun is shining and I have the time, you can find me driving up the coast through Haleiwa towards Ka'ena Point. My favorite hike and meditation spot. Definitely worth the drive and hike. We live on such a beautiful island, we all should take the time to go and appreciate what it has to offer: beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails, mountains.
I've been told that I have a geeky and sarcastic sense of humor. And I'm able to find the humor in the smallest things. Without humor, joy, and laughter, the world would be a boring place. I am extremely blunt and direct. So much so, that it unfortunately gets me into trouble sometimes. I am an intense person. With everything in my life, I give it everything I have and hold nothing back. I have been out of the dating scene for quite some time due to my busy schedule. So, I figured I would give an online dating site a shot, again.
Honesty, communication, and loyalty are keys in a relationship. Not to mention the love to give and receive affection. Leaving my partner fully satisfied and happy is one of my greatest passions in a relationship. I live my life and am there for those who need comfort and solace, for that is my true gift. The ability to empathize with those I care about helps and guides me through life.
