I’m not Mr. Perfect nor do I try to be someone I’m not- rather remain content, confident, and happy by making others happy. Hospitality is in my blood. I appreciate the good in everyone, convey light in situations that seem bleak, always count my blessings, and compliment what others seldom notice. Though I’m not religious, Christ is my mentor and hero. I like to be challenged and do likewise to others. I’m an environmental scientist doing engineering with a mind high in business, environmental sustainability and driven to do good for others in need. Adventurous traveling, seeing the world, going outdoors, multi-tasking be it at home or at work keeps me awake, though there’s always a moment to pause and rest, cherishing what I have. Not much into TV, rather watch a movie or hang out with good company for a laugh.
Nothing of this world surpasses the love I have for God, my two young kids and family…OK I’ll sneak chocolate in there. Traveling, experiencing new cultures, exotic tastes, sounds, smells of the outdoors I truly enjoy, including mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, exploring new places, but also keeping tradition of visiting favorite hotspots around the world or locally to just relax. I’m not into crowds, but at times like to go to cozy places to listen to live jazz or music sipping on wine, enjoy art shows, poetry, and cultural events. At home I like to garden, cook, work on cars, build something or tinker in the garage or go for a drive anywhere new. I find washing dishes relaxing.. No pleasure comes close to fathering my two young kids who are with me half the time. I love kids, and being like one at times.
I’m rather shy, easy going, and don’t pressure people. I know what I want when I see it instantly, recognizing true beauty radiates from within. A clean heart is more precious than any gem or model looks, and I respect all equally. My no and yes hold the same weight as a promise. Complimentary surprises are always nice, and that I do quite often. I like to be challenged outside my comfort zone, to try new things or go to new places, to have meaningful discussions, be it in politics, world events, history, and to converse on nonsense and have a good laugh too. I’m not proud or boastful, not afraid to admit wrong, and always look on the bright side of life.
