I am a very optimistic and laid back guy, who honestly tries to find the good in everything. I tend to not let things bother me and bring me down. Things happen in life and you just need to find a way to move on.
So with that attitude you will notice that I am always smiling. I have been told I have a great smile, so I might as well use it. I am one of those people that will make you smile just be looking at me. If you ever have a bad day, you can always count on me to cheer you up.
I am also quite sarcastic, I have even been mistaken for a smart ass at times. Some people just don't get great humor! I love to laugh. The best moments in life are when your laughing so hard you can't breath and you have tears running down your cheek. Then 5 minutes later start back up because you just think about it.
Like most, family and friends are very important. I mean how can they not be. Unfortunately my closest relative lives in Iowa, so I rely greatly on my friends to fill my family void. Without them I would be lost out here.
I moved here from Virginia 11 years ago and have not regretted a second of it. I packed up everything that would fit in my car and drive cross country by myself. Sure I miss back home, but I cannot ever imagine moving back (much to my mother's disappointment). I just love living in California way too much.
I can be quite the romantic, but in the little ways that may not be noticed. I will always open and close your car door for you, I will always stand on the traffic side of the sidewalk (not that I could stop a moving car, but hey the thought is there). When you are sick I will always have soup and hot tea ready for you. When you are having a bad day, my shoulder will always be available for you to cry on. I will do anything and everything I can to make you feel like the most important girl in the world.
What am I looking for?
Well I would love to meet someone who is outgoing and can make new friends anywhere she goes.
I want someone that will teach me new things and show me what I have missed so far in life. That includes everything from world traveling to new foods to hiking trails to Pilates (okay maybe not Pilates)
I really want someone whose smile can brighten a dark room. Someone who smiles at me and melts my heart. Someone who smiles and I just forget about everything, if only for a second.
I would love to meet someone that loves all music. Someone who enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra while eating dinner, then head to The Ranch and two-step, then on our way home have Pitbull blasting on the radio.
I would love to meet someone that proves that nice guys don't always finish last.
