Likes: coffee, music, antique maps, british comedies, awesome photographs, foreign films, board games, weekend getaways, rugs, hugs, afternoon naps, wood staining, singing, food.
Dislikes: liver, wet socks, being tired, dust, spelling/grammatical errors (I make them, too!), drivers who stop beyond the white line, crowds, losing a glove/earring (I’d rather lose both), the way Match’s profile page sets you up for redundancy, static cling, Verizon’s $5 late payment fee (it’s the principle!).
Facts: I sometimes wear my heart on my sleeve. I’m a subtle romantic. I show admiration without ego stroking. I’m private (not secretive). I’m shy (most don’t believe me) but friendly. I’m not needy but appreciate affection and little reminders.
I like to maintain a healthy lifestyle so I can indulge once in a while (I’m a foodie). I’m on a quest to find Boston’s best burger and am narrowing in on the top three. I like picking out the perfect frame and matte for my art work. The furthest place I have traveled is Namibia. I know it’s genetics but I’m always amazed when I see children who look exactly like their parents. Fascination: air traffic control. Obsession: dress scarves. Guilty pleasure: Xena: The Warrior Princess.
I see my partner as someone who is adventurous, spontaneous, curious, doesn't take themselves too seriously, makes me laugh (a must – and if they get my humor, even better), accepts my quirks, is kind and respectful, has a positive energy, is content with themselves (or at least working on it :-)), enjoys sharing their thoughts, stories, and experiences, likes giving hugs, and makes me smile even when they’re not around.
