I believe describing oneself is one of the more difficult things they can be asked to do, as one can be viewed completely different by two different people.
That being said, I think of myself as being fairly balanced. I have a good heart with a wicked dry sense of humor. I'm super laid back with a competitive streak and nose to the grind work ethic. I'm passive and non violent but protective of family and friends. I'm a shy, introverted person for the most part, but once the wall is broken, I can be quite the butterfly. I'm a homebody who likes going out and trying new things. I'm an active guy who likes going on a run then sitting on the couch watching a movie with some ice cream. I'm a man who is emotionally insensitive at times, and cries other times. This is starting to sound like an Alanis Morissette sound but I digress.
My experience in the dating world is limited, so knowing what I find desirable is still a work in progress. A few must haves for me do exist. Have to have a sense of humor and be able to laugh at yourself. Having a sense of the world and understanding that day to day petty problems are just that. I'm as guilty as the next person when it comes to this, but try not to sweat the small stuff. Being comfortable with who you are and how you look, even without makeup. Yes physical attraction is important, but its literally just the surface of who a person really is. Last but certainly not least, be able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life, the things money just can't buy.
