First off let me say that I am new to the area...ish. I am a Southern California native but I haven't had the privilege of living here since I was about oh....17. That being said, I will call myself "new" to the area and am eagerly seeking some fun, crazy cool times to help me get re-acquainted! Not that I want to party like whoa, but it would be nice to meet someone interested in showing me around...again.
As for myself...well let me see. I am super cool and super fun and all around just super. I never know how these narratives are supposed to go or how they'll come off to people reading them. Do I write to try and impress everyone? Do I just try to impress a select audience? I dunno. So maybe I'll just list random facts about myself, that way you the reader can have lots of fun little bullet point facts about me rather than wade through personal reflections that you may or may not take the right way:
-I work for a super cool TV show and I know all the secrets about it and I'm not going to tell you any of them so there ;)
-I like to write. I write songs (I play piano, guitar, and the precious little ukelele), have written three plays, and would like to start dabbling in screenwriting. All of my plays have been produced so I like to think I have a knack for it.
-Acting is fun. I like it so much I got a degree in it (though I found I like to write/direct more).
-I used to be a Policeman. Yes a real live police man. I was a military police man, but the job description is pretty much the same. I've tackled terrorists and pepper sprayed pedophiles. While I love alliteration...still true.
-I've lived in/been to several countries: Cuba, Japan, Korea, and Jamaica to be exact, as well as all over the US.
-Stuff I Like: Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Panic! At the Disco, Moulin Rouge, The Matrix, Scary Movies, Harry Potter, A Song of Fire and Ice (book series, ie: Game of Thrones), Shades of Grey (Not the BDSM porn, the book by Jasper Fforde), New Girl, Supernatural, Bones, The League, The Office, Parks Rec, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Battlestar Galactica,, frosty brew, karaoke, the theatre, acting, debating pointless topics, bright colors.
-Stuff I'll like about you: Being smart, funny, loyal, can pretend to be interested if I go off on some rant about something more or less inconsequential, if you are always having a bad day (come on, get happy).
