Like everyone else on this site I like to be goofy and laugh and sometimes at my own expense. I am a low maintenance girl who can hold my own with the guys but don't get me wrong, I know how to dress up and work it. :) I can be girly! Even though I am a social and outgoing person there are times I'm a bit shy (I have a real hard time doing the wink or email thing). I am an honest (sometimes too honest), sarcastic, quick witted person so you must be able to keep up with the banter. If you are looking for Miss Prissy or a trophy girl then I’m not the one for you.
I sing the wrong words to songs (I call it free stylin), mess up the punch lines to jokes, and I always get caught busting the move (I live in my own music video…..or maybe because I danced for 16 years and used to be a dance teacher, dunno). The best song to sing and dance to is John Mellencamp's Hurts so Good. Love it!! I am a total Dad’s girl and my younger brother is one of my best friends. I spoil my nieces and nephews and get warm and fuzzy inside when I hear them call me Auntie. My family rocks!
I take it pretty easy during the week. I enjoy going to the gym after work but you can't bounce a quarter off my abs or anything. On some weekends I like to go to the dog park, hang out at the pool, go on hikes or rent a kayak. During football season we either grill at my house or go somewhere loud and rowdy to watch the games. Nothing better than making friends through a celebratory high five with another fan! And I never complain about ending the weekend with a Sunday Funday. Other weekends I enjoy sitting in my backyard and reading or listening to music while watering the plants. I love it on Sundays when I have a hot cup of coffee and can hear the church bells ring across the street. It’s so comforting. When it rains (which is so often....please read with a sarcastic tone) I love having a lazy movie day in bed.
I enjoy: live music, trying new wine and beer, horror movies, I'm obsessed with chap stick (there is one hidden in every room of my house), running around with my dogs, dollar mimosas, tattoos, fresh flowers, dive bars, decorating my house for every holiday, hearing and telling inappropriate jokes, that's what she said lines, chic flicks, romantic gestures, high fives, cooking for other people, flip flops, the smell of fall, football (GO TEXANS) and baseball (Rangers and the Stros!), Mortal Combat, Christmas lights, and obviously (parenthesis).
I hope to meet someone who doesn't need me but wants me. He is independent and enjoys his personal time and respects that I enjoy my girl time. He is fun, quick witted, ambitious, confident but not arrogant, compassionate, honest and believes in chivalry. And maybe doesn't have a full wardrobe of Affliction and Ed Hardy clothing (some is ok). Or maybe a pic of their ex in their profile. Just sayin.
So say hello and maybe we can get married tomorrow and run off into the sunset under a rainbow and jump in the air during a freeze frame like they do in the movies. Just kidding! I need at least a week to get to know you better. Okay, kidding again! ~account deactivated~
