I'm in a transitional stage in my life and am still finding myself after a recent divorce.
This I am certain: I value sincerity and honesty in conjunction with friendship.The desire to learn is important, especially since mistakes are inevitable in life. Part of this mission, has been woven with setbacks which have helped me grow with realistic reflection and goals.To my dismay, I realize perfection is a fallacy and must keep reminding myself of this.;) Happiness requires adaptation and change.
Integrity is the foundation for a great relationship; without it, it's merely building a facade. It is wrong to expect somebody to change or pretend to be something you're not. Being pretentious is deplorable.
The ability to to compromise is mandatory in healthy relationships.It comes back to respect and sharing values.
I expect nothing less than receiving the same respect I give. It would be great to find someone who takes good care of himself and is honest, intelligent,well-mannered, active and attractive, yet not vain. Another strength which is attractive, is the ability to hold a conversation and make time for what is important in life.
Communication is a must. I find this to be particularly tricky and am working on this myself. Perspective interferes with this being straight forward skill.Knowing oneself is important sometimes a difficult journey. We must understand the complexity of different backgrounds and values which make us have unique views of the world. Some find that making love is casual because of our nature like an animal.I believe intimate connections are special. There is a reason the laws govern us to wear clothes in public...
