I consider myself to be kind-hearted, patient, reliable, honest, faithful, witty, slightly shy, slightly sarcastic and moderately intelligent. There are probably more adjectives that describe me as well, but that's a start. What you should know is that when I'm in a relationship, I'll do pretty much anything it takes to keep that girl happy. I'm on here looking for the real thing. A serious relationship that will last.
I'm originally from Maine. Moved out here about 7 years ago to do music (guitarist). The music scene in LA is awesome for fans, but sucks for bands. None of my acts ever really got too far off the ground, so I recently moved on to follow my new passion: coaching HS track and field (shot put and discus). I've been doing that for years, and I can't imagine myself NOT doing that any more. It's one of my biggest hobbies, but it's very fun and rewarding for me. Also I get to hang out with a bunch of awkward teens, so it's always entertaining.
I love tech/gadgets. I'm kind of teaching myself a few programming languages, and I really love working with PCs. I love writing programs. I love the problem-solving that it requires. I'm not amazing at it or anything, but I'm usually able to figure things out. It's kind of just a fun hobby for me, but if I won the lottery or something, the bulk of my days would probably be spent doing two things: Coaching, and programming. That and sleep until 10am every day.
A really awesome date for me is the classic dinner/movie combination. Or maybe hitting up a comedy club or checking out some live music. I like finding new restaurants, and I love trying/experiencing new things (especially with food). That being said, I'm not big into nature. I mean, it's cool and all, and I'd be down to go for hikes every now and then, and I'd have a blast! But I could easily go without it. It's more of an every-now-and-then thing for me. Plus, you probably don't want to hear me complaining about my blistered feet all day. I love nothing more than a good night at home with the right girl, watching movies/tv, and just hanging out for a lazy Saturday or Sunday. Maybe some wine and/or beer, and I'm good.
-I love movies in general, but my fav genres are probably horror/suspense and comedy
-Despite that fact, my favorite movie is Good Will Hunting
-TV: Always Sunny, Community, Modern Family, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Tosh.0, Archer, Walking Dead, Arrested Development, HIMYM
-I don't like when girls wear too much make-up
-I don't like politics much, but I do keep informed
-My favorite foods are Indian, Thai, and Mexican (in that order) . The spicier the better.
-I could watch Neil DeGrasse Tyson or Richard Dawkins talk about literally anything for an hour
What I'm mostly looking for is someone with a few similar interests, and a similar sense of humor. She should definitely be nice, intelligent, self-dependent and fun as well. I'm definitely looking/hoping for a serious relationship.
