My friend Amy just got engaged to this great guy whom she met online two years ago. Fact is, I've never seen her so happy and it's inspired me to sign up. I've done the bar scene and I am looking for another avenue besides the friends who want to set me up on dates. . . . . . . . [About me]: I grew up in Manhattan, rowed crew and studied economics in college, worked in investment banking and for a hedge fund, and am currently attaining my MBA. Oh . . . and I just spent the summer in Switzerland. Quite an experience!
I LOVE: traveling to Europe and to warm places like the Caribbean and Miami, sampling ethnic restaurants (italian, japanese, indian, thai etc), jogging in the park with my iPod, lifting, schmoozing, leading UJA and Leukemia/Lymphoma events, reading about psychology and finance, watching trashy shows on MTV and Bravo (only to de-stress . . . . i swear!), and most of all, spending time with the people I love.
I'm looking for an intelligent, optimistic woman with a good heart. Someone whom I could trust fully, whom I could say anything to, and most importantly, someone who would one day become a best friend. And on a side note, if you like to read, that's a real plus.
