Okay, about me. I'm sweet and caring, yet confident in myself and have my geeky intellectual side. I'm not your average girl in that I've never been the girl going out every weekend to see how drunk she can get and who she can pick up and I'm not too prissy for hard work and getting dirty, I've always been introverted around people I don't know, and although it has taken me a long time (and leaving a 13 year relationship) I am now really happy with who I am and completely comfortable with myself.
I'm a full time student of archaeology/ biological anthropology and work in the bioarch lab on campus, so I stay very busy "work" wise but love to relax and have fun when I can. The most enjoyable dates for me are ones without a major agenda where we can just relax and talk, whether that is over a meal, coffee, or a beer doesn't really matter. I enjoy a good intellectual debate, shooting pool, or even watching movies at home, but that doesn't mean I'm never up for an adventure or trekking through the woods. I've recently divorced from a long marriage and would just like to meet someone that I can have fun with and see where things go.
The big kicker for most is this, I do have two children from my marriage. Their father is very active in their lives and I will not be ready for them to meet any guy I date until it's pretty serious. So there it is, I'm a fun laid back girl who has two children from a long marriage. I hope to find someone who wants to have a good time with me even though I have children at home!
So If you've gotten this far, good for you! Now you get to hear what I'm looking for in a guy. I want someone who is intelligent and can keep up in conversation so I'm not always explaining myself, who is driven and knows what he wants out of life, who thinks I'm super cool and who I feel the same way about, who smiles a lot and can have fun but be serious when the occasion calls for it, I like tall guys because my ex was shorter than me and I have recently rediscovered my love of high heels, and you'll get bonus points for being handy. My weakness? strong arms (and if they happen to have a tattoo, um yeah...) I want someone who knows that I am a capable woman who can take care of myself but wants to take care of me and makes me feel safe. I know, specific right?
