I've always preferred to meet people through friends or chance encounters, to get to know them, and to date if things sparked but, chance encounters take a lot of going out and my friend's friends are an interesting breed. I figure I'd leave less to chance and to take a stab at online dating. Couldn't hurt, right?
I'm a Marketing Manager for a pretty big company here in Atlanta. I love my job but it can be pretty out of control. I off-set the my crazy work weeks by taking full advantage of every bit of spare time I have - taking a spontaneous trip, taking on a random sport, having a little fun with friends. I work hard and play hard for sure. I started indoor rock climbing at the beginning of the year and got hooked. I climb about 2 - 3 times a week and recently took my skills to the rock faces of AL. Scary as all get out given my fear of heights, but a rush I can't seem to walk away from. In stark contrast to climbing, I absolutely love to get out and read for hours. Although I don't get to do it as much as I'd like, salsa dancing is by far one of my favorite pass-times. I've got a lot of likes - music, travel, good film, getting outdoors... I'd be here for hours if I tried to list them all.
My life is full and I love it for sure but I'm ready to meet the right guy to take on new adventures with. I could see how one might wonder where on Earth I'd find the time to date. To that, I'd say life's all about prioritization and getting to know a great guy is at the top of my list. If you're a positive and intelligent person with ambition and a sense of humor, and can relate to any of the above, don't be afraid to write. Who knows how things will end up :)
