Hi. I've been in DC for more than seven years now (!) and am finally starting to think of it as home. I am very fortunate to have lived on all three coasts (I lived for several years in CA and am originally from Hawai'i) as well as overseas (as a child, in undergrad and with Peace Corps). Like many others in this city, I love to travel and am quite often traveling.
While I prefer to meet people when I am out and about (chemistry is almost impossible to judge from pictures/a profile) I find this is becoming difficult for a variety of reasons (mostly centered around my schedule and newfound love of getting some sleep on the weekends). Online dating has been interesting, though I still don't quite understand all the liking and winking and then not responding when I like or wink back. Hey, you asked for my number remember? ;)
I am very much of an extrovert and love having friends over for dinner parties, especially impromptu ones. I am very lucky to have a wide circle of close friends; they are like my family and I truly appreciate them, especially as most of my family (including the cutest niece ever!) is so far away.
