I'm a laid back, open-minded, girl who plans for the future, but knows how to sit back and live in the moment.
I love long walks, hiking and just being in nature. My family's from Northern California, so while I do love Nashville, I sometimes find myself missing the ocean and the redwoods.
If I could have any job in the world, it would be to be the host of Anthony Bordaine's No Reservations (although I'd have to change the first half of that title…). I love to travel and experience me off the beaten path sort of stuff wherever I go. That usually includes checking out some good local restaurants.
I moved down here after finishing school in Boston a few years ago to, wait for it, pursue a career in music (bet you didn't see that one coming. Nobody down here is in the music industry...). I'm an instrumentalist and play with a couple different acts as well as a professional songwriter. I feel very lucky that I am able to do something that I am so passionate about.
I am also a huge foodie and love to discover new restaurants with friends. If you have a recommendation for a place that I haven't been to, you earn extra points! I also took up cooking a while back, and it has become bit of a meditation for me ever since. I really enjoy cooking for others, so if we get to know each other, that's something to potentially look forward to.
I love getting outside and exploring, but I also enjoy just curling up on the couch and watching something funny on TV, like 30 Rock or The Office.
